“THERE WILL NOT BE A THIRD DEBATE!”
Former US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump (2017-2021) announced on Thursday that he will not participate in another election debate against his rival, vice president and aspiring Democrat Kamala Harris.

“THERE WILL NOT BE A THIRD DEBATE!” he wrote in capital letters on his social network, Truth Social.
Trump participated in a first debate in June against US President Joe Biden, which led the president to end his re-election campaign after a disastrous performance. The second debate took place on Tuesday, where analysts and television commentators named Harris as the winner.
The Democratic campaign had called for a third debate after this week’s Philadelphia meeting, but Trump had already lowered expectations of a new face-to-face before the November 5 election.
On Wednesday, in a tribute to the victims of the September 11 attacks, Trump said he should “think” about whether another debate was necessary, as he believes he won against Harris and had a “great night”.
In justifying his decision not to participate in another debate on Thursday, he stated in Truth Social that “polls clearly show” he won the verbal duel, and in capital letters added: “KAMALA SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT SHE HAS BEEN DOING FOR ALMOST THE LAST FOUR YEARS.”
“When a boxer loses a fight, the first thing he says is ‘I WANT A REMATCH,'” said Trump, who argued that since he hasn’t lost, he doesn’t need another.
